Medical Assessment

To help evaluate your pet’s health status and determine the underlying cause for any health issues you may have, we need to start by obtaining a detailed history and performing a physical examination of your pet.
Based on your pet’s condition, we may recommend baseline diagnostic testing, such as CBC (complete blood count) and chemistry panel and/or urine tests as necessary to check your pet’s kidneys, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system, including the thyroid and adrenal glands. We may also recommend additional diagnostics such as more specialized blood tests, radiography (x-rays), ultrasound, biopsy or endoscopy (internal scoping).

If you’re concerned that something may be wrong with your pet, please call us to schedule a medical assessment. Depending on the symptoms, we may ask you to bring in your pet right away.
